Michelle and Jake | InterContinental | Chicago, Illinois

Wedding

Michelle and Jake were an absolute breeze to work with on a perfect summer’s day. Their engagement shoot had gone so well, I was not worried when I walked into the Intercontinental to meet Michelle for some getting ready shots. After the first look we headed to the Wrigley Building for portraits and to take advantage of that great afternoon light Chicago has to offer. I love the way the shadows framed the couple and was glad we braved the crowds on the Riverwalk to take these dynamic shots. Their interfaith ceremony was heartfelt and touching – and although the scene was elegant – the reception was warm and a whole lot of fun. I’ve shot many Hora dances in my day, but this was by far one of my favorites – such a great group of guests. Cheers to the happy couple and a lifetime of fun!

I had been following Tim's Instagram account since my college years and always admired his photography. It was a no brainer to hire him for our wedding. Working with Tim was a pleasure. From our initial conversation, Tim put us at ease and we were confident that he would deliver stunning pictures for our special day. He did not disappoint! Tim's organization and flexibility took all of the stress out of it and he made communication a breeze. He has a tremendous ability to help you relax and makes the photography fun. Tim is the consummate professional and is highly recommended!
