Grace and Patrick had their lovely, summer wedding in the north suburbs. The day started with Grace getting ready in her childhood home in Wilmette. I was able to capture some great shots of her preparing for the day with all four of her sisters standing by. Grace and the rest of the ladies decided to walk the several blocks to the church and it made for fun photos of her crew all lending a hand with the dress. After the Catholic ceremony the bridal party loaded onto the party bus for photos at Gillson Park. With Lake Michigan as the backdrop, we got some awesome photos of Grace and Patrick with their bridal party. The weather wasn’t ideal, but the couple were good sports and we ended up getting some great stuff while braving the elements. On arriving at the reception at the Glen Club in Glenview, I pulled the bride and groom aside for a couple more photos using the club’s unique architecture. Once the party started, I was able to hang back and capture some truly heartfelt speeches made to the couple. It was clear that they were very important to many people and I couldn’t be more happy for them. A fantastic day with two amazing people!
