Looking back on 2019: Families

In addition to capturing couples, I also do a lot of family photography. Long before anyone hired me for their weddings, parents were finding me on Craigslist to photograph their children. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about how to get kids to warm up to the camera. I’ve also learned that sometimes you just have to chase your subject to get the shot. It can be challenging at times, but it’s always worth it to see the end result. Providing my parents with precious images of their family is incredibly rewarding and this is especially true if I took their wedding photos. I offer mini sessions all year round for families with kids of all ages. They will only be this age once so let’s document these times so you will always have moments to look back on!
