Nicole and Joe held their downtown Chicago wedding at the beginning of the summer. The temperatures were getting warmer, the population was getting vaxxed, and people were itching to let loose. What better occasion than at a wedding? The couple got ready at the Westin River North and this took us right into an emotional first look between the bride and groom. After the couple had their moment, their dog was brought in for a few family pics. The couple and bridal party loaded onto the bus where we headed to Olive Park for some lakefront and skyline photos. Then we headed to another classic location in the Chicago Board of Trade on LaSalle. Portraits with them were effortless as we had the perfect weather conditions: comfortable temperatures and slight overcast. Finally it was time to go to the venue, River Roast, for the ceremony and reception. The venue is situated right on the river and guests at cocktail hour are treated to some spectacular views of the city. The evening ended with a party that had the couple dancing with their guests for hours. Overall, a fantastic wedding day with a truly amazing couple.
