Jade and Jon had to postpone their original wedding plans due to Covid. They opted to keep their original date at their venue, but scale things back for a small group of friends and family. The day started at an apartment downtown where I was able to capture some candids of Jade getting ready. Then we headed over to Logan Square for the couple’s first look near the 606 trail. We ended up getting some great shots there. Their dog, Hank, joined in as well. Wedding days are just better with dogs involved. The couple had an intimate, but special ceremony at the outdoor courtyard at Greenhouse Loft. The group then headed inside for burgers and pie followed by some truly heartfelt speeches. This was one of those events that I felt privileged to be a part of. I’m flattered that they trusted me to capture such important moments for them.
“Tim was a fantastic wedding photographer, especially during a year when wedding planning was turned upside down due to the pandemic. He stayed in close contact with us in the months leading up to it and enabled us to shift our plans as necessary, offering helpful ideas and thoughts to make it a wonderful experience. His attention to detail and experience as a photographer is unmatched, and the photos he took truly gives those who weren't able to attend a chance to feel like they were. I know my husband and I will look back at our wedding photos and smile, not only because we opted to get married during a crazy year(masks and all), but also because he captured an intimate experience in such a stunning way - so much so that we're having him take photos at our 1 year anniversary and wedding celebration part 2!”
