Danielle and Edwind had a summer wedding for the books! The couple got ready at the Kimpton Grey hotel where they were able to use the grand staircase for their first look. The lounge provided a movie-like set for some additional portraits with the couple and their bridal party. Then the group headed to the river to capture some iconic Chicago photos on the Lake St. bridge. I simply love to use all the shapes and geometry of the bridges as backdrops. After the portrait session, we headed to Loft Lucia in the West Loop where the ceremony and reception was held. The ceremony took place outside on the venue’s roof and was filled with personal touches. After cocktails and dinner, the guests were treated to a party complete with the bride and her father singing a duet of Cruisin’ by Huey Lewis. Between dances I was able to pull the couple away for a quiet moment upstairs where we took some unique portraits at the bar. I’m grateful my work allows me to work with so many great couples and their guests. Danielle and Edwind were certainly no exception. Congrats you two!
“We absolutely loved our experience with Tim. Our engagement and wedding photos were absolutely stunning! You can tell he gave thought and time to the editing process. Tim is extremely professional and even when the wedding party was running an hour behind due to the getting ready process, he never exuded any frustration or anxiety. I will more than likely use him for more big moments. Please consider booking Tim to capture your event!”
