Carolyn and Mike | Skyline Loft | Chicago, Illinois

Wedding

Carolyn and Mike had their wedding on a rainy spring day. Thankfully the weather didn’t bring down their spirits and I thought it showed in their photos. They had great attitudes all day and the storms let up several times throughout the day to allow for some awesome portraits. We started our day with Carolyn getting ready at the Westin Hotel right on the river. Under the cover of umbrellas, the couple shared their first look. We then headed to the Kinzie Street Bridge and Olive Park for some photos with the bridal party. After the ceremony held at Holy Family Catholic Church, we headed to the party at the Skyline Loft inside the Bridgeport Art Center. This venue is so great with its big, wooden beams stretching to the ceiling, exposed brick, and impressive skyline views. After lots of laughs and dancing, we finished the night with the bride and groom in front of a wall lit up with string lights. A huge ‘thanks’ to Carolyn and Mike for including me on your big day!
