This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding that perfectly balanced tradition, nature, and celebration. The day began with a heartfelt Catholic ceremony at a church in Elmwood Park, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the newly opened Firefly Pavilion at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle—a stunning venue tucked among the trees, offering an elegant blend of modern design and natural surroundings. As golden hour approached, we stepped outside the pavilion to take sunset portraits. The warm evening light filtered through the trees, creating a soft, romantic glow that made for some of my favorite shots of the day.
The reception inside the Firefly Pavilion was relaxed and joyful, filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of dancing under the soft evening lights. It was a perfect summer celebration, and I’m so grateful to have captured it.
If you’re planning a wedding at the Morton Arboretum or elsewhere in Chicagoland, I’d love to connect!
