September weddings in Chicago are hard to beat and this wedding for Liz and Geno was a perfect example why. We started the day with getting ready downtown, surrounded by family, and that quiet excitement that always comes before everything begins.
From there, we headed to Montrose Harbor at the lakefront for portraits. The weather was warm and sunny, with a soft breeze off the lake and the skyline in the background. The two even brought along their dog for some fun family shots.
The ceremony and reception took place at Tied House in Lakeview. It’s a modern, intimate space that was perfect for this celebration. After dinner, the party continued next door at Schubas with a DJ and live saxophone — easily one of the best dance parties I’ve seen in a long time.
From downtown to the lakefront to Lakeview, the day felt like a true Chicago wedding: personal, joyful, and full of energy from start to finish. Congrats to another wonderful pair!
